His faithfulness through our relationship

Our God is faithful. Many things are thrown in our direction that could cause us to focus on a specific event, situation, or circumstance and lose sight of the fact that we serve a faithful God. But none of those concerns, no matter how pressing they may seem, can change this fact: “the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His loving kindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments” (Deuteronomy 7:9 NASV).

It’s no small matter that we are bombarded daily by the “tyranny of the urgent.” It’s easy to be distracted by pressing issues and, if we aren’t protective of our priorities, we can easily become focused on solving the problem...

Praise that wins the Victory

“As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men...who were invading Judah, and they were defeated” (2 Chronicles 20:22).

“The Philistines went up and camped in Judah, spreading out near Lehi” (Judges 15:9).

In the verses above, Judah was the target of enemy attack. If you read Judges 14 and 15, you will observe that Samson was in battle with the Philistines and they didn’t give up easily.

Have you ever noticed that the enemy will do what he can to camp right in your territory and spread out?! He attempts to move in closer and closer to intimidate you in hopes that...
